Description

The medal's obverse design depicts the left-quarter profile of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States. On the medal's reverse, Hamilton stands at the center. He is surrounded by the outlines of several U.S. states as well as the images of a ship, cannon, the Scales of Justice, documents, his childhood home, and dueling guns.
