Description

The stereograph features a black and white image of the East Room, located at the White House in Washington, D.C. The finishes depicted in the room would have been used during Ulysses S. Grant's administration. Gas chandeliers, white columns, huge mirrors, and intricate designs on the walls and ceiling are all visible in this image. The image is mounted on a yellow card with rounded corners.
