Description
The medal's obverse design features four soldiers with weapons raised in battle. A fifth soldier is pictured slightly above the rest waiving a United States flag. On the reverse, Confederate and United States flags are pictured intersecting at the top of the medal. Several rifles appear behind the flags, and the image of an eagle is placed at the center of the intersection. At the medal's bottom, a decorative border lines the edge.
