This black and white illustration is of Abraham Lincoln, depicted as wearing a dark suit, vest, and tie with a white shirt. "The Chubbuck…Eng." Springfield, Mass." is captioned along the bottom edge of the illustration with "Engraved Expressly for Holland's "Life of Lincoln" directly beneath the illustration. Lincoln's signature is also depicted. The illustration is within volume three of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
