The illustration is captioned as "Bombardment & Capture of Forts Walker and Beauregard, Port Royal, S.C., Nov. 7, 1861. "Fort Walker, Vandalia, Susquehanna, Seminole, Wabash, Burnsville and Ft. Beauregard" is along the bottom edge of the illustration. The engraver is identified beneath the caption. This illustration is from volume five of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
