This sepia toned photograph is of Horace Greely, an American newspaper editor and publisher who was the founder and editor of the New-York Tribune. He is bald on top and wearing eye glasses. He is seated with his hands folded on his lap. The photograph was pasted within pages 264-265 of volume two of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
