This black and white illustration is of Millard Fillmore, the 13th president of the United States, serving from 1850 to 1853 and the last to be a member of the Whig Party while in the White House. Fillmore is depicted as wearing a black coat and tie with a white shirt. The background of the illustration is shaded dark. Fillmore's name is captioned beneath the illustration. The illustration is within volume two of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
