Early movement in Illinois for the legalization of slavery
This pamphlet contains an address in opposition to the legalization of slavery made by Hon. William H. Brown to the Chicago Historical Society, December 5, 1864. Advertisements for new issues of Chicago Historical Society meeting addresses and the list of senators and house representatives are included within the pamphlet.
