Description

Mississippi State University Libraries hosted a reception and book signging for author Missy Hopper on September 1, 2010. Dr. Hopper is the author of two children's books: *Peggy Sue and the Pepper Patch,* illustrated by CeCelia Bowden, and *Chasing Bandits: The Adventures of John Hart and Theodore Roosevelt Hollumway Jones,* illustrated by Nell Slaughter. The reception was held in Mitchell Memorial Library's John Grisham Room, where Dr. Hopper shared her experiences writing the books and then signed copies for those in attendance. Here, Hopper (right) visits with friends during the reception.
