This handwritten letter, dated August 8, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in Germany to his sister, Kay Bogan, in Meridian, Mississippi. The letter describes the jobs he's been doing and discusses news from home. A pamphlet for "Broadway Alien" is included. The air mail envelope is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Service A. P. O., August 11, 1945 and includes two red six cent air mail postage stamps in the upper right.
