This handwritten letter, dated March 5, 1857, is written from F. H. Farrar to John P. Darden discussing poetry and his preference for modern poetry. Farrar encourages Darden to send his work to him with the caveat that he should do so only if he is comfortable with Farrar's taste in poetry.
