Description

This color picture postcard features the entrance to St. Augustine's Seminary with palm trees and statues visible. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left reads "St. Augustine's Seminary Chapel Bay St. Louis, Miss.--St. Augustine's is one of the nations two Catholic seminaries training Negro youths for priesthood. Its spacious grounds abound with semi-tropical plants."; ".50" is written in pencil in the upper left of the card.
