Description

This color postcard feature a view of a four story "U" shaped hotel with a driveway, tennis court, and trees on the lawn in front. The Gulf waters with boats is seen behind the hotel. The title in the upper left corner identifies the hotel as "Great Southern Hotel." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Gulfport, Mississippi, April 22, 1915 at the top and bottom. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Hunter Giers in Nashville, Tennessee.
