Description

This black and white postcard features a two story house with tall white columns across the front. A long landscaped driveway leads to the house and trees are beside and behind the house. "Cotesworth" is handwritten above the image and an inscription is handwritten along the right edge of the cards. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked twice. The first postmark Greenwood, Mississippi, December 20, 1906 and the second postmark is Lancaster, Ohio, December 22, 1906. The card is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Augustine J. Smith in Lancaster, Ohio.
