This black and white postcard features a four story hotel with arched main entrance doors. A postmark for New Haven, Connecticut, August 15, 1906 is stamped in the top center. The title in the lower left identifies the hotel as "Hotel Cowan, Greenville, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked twice. Once for Greenville, Mississippi, August 12, 1906 and the second is for New Haven, Connecticut August 14, 1906. The card is addressed to Miss Florence Thompson.
