Description

This color postcard features men in white uniforms gather in a grassy outdoor space watching a boxing match taking place inside an outdoor boxing ring. Some men are gathered right up next to the boxing ring while others are seated in sections on the grass. The title in the upper right reads "U. S. Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, IL." and the title in the lower left corner reads "Outdoor Boxing." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher and artist information, as well as, indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement.
