Description

This color postcard features a naval cruiser with four funnels/stacks in the center, all of which are emitting dark smoke. A United States Flat flies from the mast on the stern end of the ship. The title and description along the top of the card reads "1310--U. S. Armored Cruiser "Montana." 750 Officers and men. Length 502 feet. Main battery 20 guns. The back of the postcard dentifies the item as a postcard that was made in the United States and provides indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement.
