Description

This color postcard features a sailor in uniform looking through a telescope on a pole from a naval ship. The title in the lower left corner reads "Finding the Range" and the photographer is listed beneath the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A red two cent postage stamp is in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Spring Grove, Minnesota, July 1918. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Lena Gougan in Caledonia, Minnesota.

Rudolph's address is Co L. 139 Suf. American Expeditionary Force Via New York Had a letter from him yesterday all is well Regards to all from Aunt Caroline [sic]
