Description

This color postcard features a dark naval ship with two cage/lattice masts in a dry dock with buildings and smoke stacks to the left of the dry dock. The title along the top of the card reads "U. S. S. "Mississippi" in Dry Dock, League Island Navy Yard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a Souvo Chrome Superior Quality postcard and provides indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement.
