Description

This color postcard features a naval cruiser on the water with a view of buildings on the coast in the distance behind it. The cruiser features one large funnel/stack emitting smoke, two pole masts, and a United States flag flying on the stern. An image of an eagle in the center of two United States flags is in the upper left corner of the card. The title in the lower left reads "U. S. Dynamite Cruiser Vesuvius." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for address and postage stamp placement. An image of an eagle carrying a U. S. flag shield is in the upper left corner.
