Description

This black and white picture postcard features a large battleship with two lattice/cage masts and one funnel/stack in the center of top deck. The ship appears to be docked in a port or harbor. The bow of a cargo ship is in the foreground of the photograph the port dock and buildings are behind the ship. The handwritten title along the bottom of the card identifies the ship as "Battleship Mississippi". The back of the postcardidentifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement.
