Description

This color postcard features a naval cruiser with four funnels/stacks in the center, one of which is emitting black smoke. A United States flag is flying from the stern of the ship. The title along the top of the card reads "U. S. Armored Cruiser "Colorado." 800 Officers and Men. Length 502 feet. Main Battery 18 Guns." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement.
