Description

This sepia toned picture postcard features a large battleship being led by a small speedboat through open waters. The title along the top of the card reads "Speed Trials, Battleship Nebraska on Puget Sound, Built in Seattle Ship Yard." The copyright information is in the lower right of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is place in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Seattle, Washington, February 18, 1920. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Ella Olsen in Medford, Wisconsin.
