In this promissory note, W. S. Woodfin promises to repay George W. Ruff the thirty one dollars and eighty-six cents loaned to him so that he is able to carry on his farm in Attala County, Mississippi. He further pledges all stock and perishable property as well as corn and cotton raised on the farm during the year 1888 to Ruff.
