Description

An envelope containing several receipts pertaining to the distribution of funds related to the sale of a lot of land in Kosciusko, Mississippi during the March 1889 term of the Chancery Court. The envelope is R.B. Webb, Sheriff of Attala County, Kosciusko. the receipts within share the names of the people receiving funds, the amounts of the funds, the dates, and what the funds were for. An unrelated document authorizing W. H. Ford to employ a lawyer to defend his children in any suit brought against them. John Marshall Gordon is the guardian of said children and signed the authorization on Augus 22, 1888.
