Description

In this handwritten letter, dated July 26, 1889, John C. Brown, an attorney in Missouri writes to R. B. Webb in Kosciusko, Mississippi, requesting his assistance in obtaining proof of signatures of two men who's estates have disputed the acknowledgment of a deed for land in Kosciusko. He provides names of people who may be able to provide proof. The documents that the letter describes as having been included are missing from the collection.
