Description

In this promissory note, dated April 21, 1924, C. L. Thiver and E. L. Ray promise to pay fifty dollars and sixty-three cents with six percent interest to L. W. Hughes, Guardian of Alf Hughes on July 1, 1924. The note states that should the note remain unpaid after July 1, the interest rate will raise to ten percent. The payments are to be made at the Alexander Mercantile Company in Kosciusko, Mississippi. A handwritten note states that the note was transferred to E. L. Ray on March 16, 1925 and a handwritten note on the back states that the balance was paid by E. L. Ray on March 16, 1925.
