In this letter, dated March 9, 1926, Maria R. Dodd writes to J. H. Cain requesting that he collect the interest on a bond that is due and send her a draft for what she has in the bank. She askes after his family and thanks him for his help. The top left corner of the paper has been cut out and the balance sent is handwritten at the bottom of the page.
