Description

In this letter, dated August 12, 1927, Maria R. Dodd writes to J. H. Cain to request that he sell two of the bonds and send her the money in a New York draft. She goes on to aske after his family and tells him the "country still in the same trouble". Handwritten notes at the bottom of the page by J. H. Cain inform her of the bonds he sold and how much they were worth. The letter is typed on Mrs. W. W. Dodd stationary.
