Description
The history of Panola County, Mississippi is the front page headline of this eight page issue of the Southern Reporter, dated May 28, 1909. Other items within the issue include poems, advertisements for various tonics and health aids, national, state, and local news, personals, short stories, announcements, and a directory. Articles of note concern the U.S.'s involvement in the Philippines and President Taft's economic ideology. The pages of the newspaper all show signs of wear, tearing and some age stains.
