Description

This article from an unnamed newspaper speaks of the death of Clifton Power Clark, a Kosciusko, Mississippi native who lived his adult life and died in Washington, D.C. Clark died December 31, 1947 at the age of 72. The writer of the article describes him as having been part of the "old crowd from the state that welded into an organization which has been in existence for more than fifty years", referring to the number of Mississippians who moved to Washington D. C.. The article describes the funeral services and goes on to give a brief biography of Clark's life.
