Description

This article, taken from the Khaki's Comments column of the Kosciusko, Mississippi's Star Herald, speaks of the high regard in which many in Kosciusko and the surrounding communities held for Dr. Robert B. Ray and extols his virtues. The article describes Dr. Ray as having a "pseudo-gruffness about him that did not permit friends to express sentimental feelings or to praise his accomplishments" and that as such, "we will never know of the untold acts of kindness he performed, the number of people he helped, nor of his charitable works" and ends with the author stating they "hope that you will be able to say half of the nice things about me that are being said about Dr. Robert when I pass."
