Description
This feature article focuses on Bernadette "Beanie" Beyt, a nurse in New Orleans, Louisiana for fifty years. In the article, Beyt talks about what nursing school in the 1920's was like and how far the field of nursing and medical have come during her time working in hospitals. A photograph of Beyt tending a patient is included with the article. A handwritten note is written above the photograph that says "A wonderful article about a wonderful person" with another handwritten note beneath it stating it was written by Pauline Loewenskey. Beyt is the sister of Denise Beyt Ray, Robert B. Ray's wife.
