Description

This black and white photograph shows two men and a young woman posing on either sided of the General Albert Sidney Johnston monument located in the Shiloh battlefield. The men are wearing black suits and the woman is wearing a black dress. The monument bears a pyramid of 8" shells at each corner of the concrete base and in the center is a 30 pdr. Parrott tube mounted vertically bearing a bronze plaque with the inscription and capped by a 12 pdr. shell. Trees devoid of leaves are pictured behind the monument.
