Description

In this handwritten letter, dated November 11, 1878, E. B. Crisman writes to Anna (Annie) McKee Boyd Green to solicit a quilt made by her for his wife as their bedding had all ben sacrificed after their nephew died of scarlet fever. He offers to pay for the quilt via a donation to the missionary cause. The letter is written on "Office of Board of Missions of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church" stationary.
