Description

In this handwritten letter, dated August 21, 1881, Matilda Patterson writes to her sister, Anna (Annie) McKee Boyd Green in reply to a letter she'd received in July. She tells Anna that while she is in good health, Frank has become sick since the last time she wrote and she expects him to improve. She goes on to say that she will write to their sister Jane about coming to Leake County to visit when Jane goes and will let Anna know.
