Description

In this handwritten letter, dated September 2, 1881, Lenora "Nora" Boyd writes to her grandmother, Anna (Annie) McKee Boyd Green to tell her she had intended to send photographs of the younger children but had not done so, yet. She informs her grandmother that she has a two month old sister named Lilly. She goes on to discuss her father's visit to East Texas to see Aunt Matilda and all the family he saw there. She shares her plans to stay at home and teach the children. Lenora is John Gordon Davis Boyd's daughter.
