Description
In this handwritten letter, dated October 14, 1882, Mary McNabb writes to Anna (Annie) McKee Boyd Green, addressing her as Grandmas Green and describes the piece of jewelry she is sending that was made by a native Choctaw child who is attending the New Hope Female Academy in the "Indian Territory" nearby. She goes on to describe the school and what how it's contributions to the Choctaw Nation. She then states that though they've never met, she thinks of her often is grateful for her contributions to the missionaries.
