Description

In this handwritten letter, dated April 6, 1923, Clayton Webb writes from Texas to his sister, Annie "Nancy" Webb Ray in Kosciusko, Mississippi to tell her how much he's enjoyed the preserves she sent. He goes on to talk about the success he's had with making a living from his chicken farm and the kinds of chickens he's currently got. He describes the lack of rain and how it has affected the creek and his ability to fish. He concludes by discussing some friends who are moving in nearby and how much land has been "put in" lately.
