Description
In this handwritten letter, dated August 19, 1923, Clayton Webb writes from Texas to his sister, Annie "Nancy" Webb Ray in Kosciusko, Mississippi to tell her about his work a the Baskins' store and all the books he's kept and how behind the books were. He goes on to explain why he gave up his chicken farm and how he feared he'd go into debt before he ever made any real profit. An envelope addressed to Mrs. Annie Ray and postmarked Cameron, Texas, August 19, 1923 is included.
