Description

In this handwritten letter, Mary Webb writes from Dakota, Texas to her grandmother, Matilda Ann "Lit" Boyd Webb in Kosciusko, Mississippi as a response to the letter she'd received. Mary tells her grandmother of the cattle they sold the day before and how much they sold for and laments the fact that he sold their milk cow, as well. She goes on to describe school and apprises her of the grades she got from recent exams and responds to a question asked in the her grandmother's letter.
