Description

In this handwritten letter, Robert. B. Webb writes from Kosciusko, Mississippi to John M. Smylie in Jackson, Mississippi to inform him that he's enclosed an affidavit contesting a homestead entry and the payments involved. Smylie responds to the letter on the same paper with instructions that the laws have changed and what now must be done. The letters are written on R. B. Webb Notary Public stationary.
