Description

In this typed letter, Wess writes from Cuba to his cousin, Minnie Boyd Jones in Kosciusko, Mississippi to thank her for her letter and to inform her of the ordeals he'd suffered in the past year. He tells her of how he cut his legs really badly then got so sick with fluid on his lungs that he spent a long time a hospital and eventually was sent to the states to recuperate. He describes his and his baby's travels to visit family in New York and Missouri and how they fared. The letter is written on Campania Azucarera Antilla, S.A. stationary.
