Description

In this typed letter, J. D. Clark writes from Abilene Texas to his sister, Rosa Boswell in Kosciusko, Mississippi to tell her about funeral of Charley Webb in Sweetwater, Texas. He describes it as being in a brick country church with the procession being at least a mile long. He goes on to describe the trip to Sweetwater from Abilene and to discuss Charley Webb's illness and subsequent death. He then tells her his and his family's church activities then circles back to discuss others in the Webb family and share who he had heard was already dead from the family. An obituary for C. M. Webb [Charles Micajah Webb] is included.
