Description

This handwritten tax statement lists city and county taxes owed and paid in Attala County, Mississippi for 1885 by R. B. Webb, Sheriff and Tax Collector. Taxes were initially owed in the amount of one thousand, five hundred and ninety-one dollars and seventy-six cents. Credits are listed in the amount of eight hundred fifty-six dollars and twelve cents and payments listed at four hundred forty-six dollars and thirty cents leaving a total of two hundred sixty-six dollars and seventy-one cents due the county.
