Description

The object is a Civil War-era patriotic bifold lettersheet, probably issued ca. 1865. It features a bust portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the upper left corner. The pages are lined and the recto has a black mourning border. It is printed on white paper with blue and black ink. Ref: Weiss FP-AL 8.
