The object is a page removed from Frank Leslie's Illustrated History of the Civil War; Its recto (page 511) includes a colored engraving and text; The engraving, entitled "President Lincoln Riding Through Richmond, VA., April 4th, 1865, Amid The Enthusiastic Cheers Of The Inhabitants," depicts Abraham Lincoln in carriage, surrounded by crowd; The page's verso (page 512) features a black and white engraving and text; The engraving, entitled "The Grand Review at Washington, D.C., May 24th, 1865," depicts President Johnson, Lieutenant General Grant, and other inspecting Sherman's army while Sherman salutes
