Files
Description
The color print features an image of a statue titled Abraham Lincoln: The Hoosier Youth, which was sculpted by Paul Manship. It was commissioned by the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company in 1928 for its (then) headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The heroic bronze sculpture features a young Lincoln seated on a tree stump. He holds a partially closed book in his proper right hand, and his left hand rests atop a dog's head. In the background, the building is partially pictured.
