2013 White House Christmas Ornament, The American Elm Tree
The Christmas ornament honors Woodrow Wilson, the twenty-eighth President of the United States. At the ornament's front, an image of the American Elm tree Wilson planted on the North Lawn of the White House ( 18 December 1913) is depicted. Two peace doves carry banners and flank the image. On the reverse, a quote by Wilson is inscribed and surrounded by a wreath of holly. At the ornament's top, a red silk ribbon is attached for hanging.
