This handwritten letter from Gale Carr to his wife, Florence, describes various aspects of his job as a dairy production manager at the Shelby County Penal Farm, his ambitions to stay at the farm, his frustration at the lack of progress on building the poultry building, and offers advice to Florence on how to handle their property in Missouri in context of preparing for her to move to Tennessee.
